You Tube Listening Treasure: Liza Gives Doris Day A Ring-A-Ding
Last year, the ever game Liza Minnelli gave Hollywood legend and perpetual virgin Doris Day a call--and fortunately, it happened to be on a radio show so we could all hear it without tapping their phones. The result was rather well meaning, though some have pointed out that (1) Doris doesn't sound all that thrilled when Liza calls; (2) Doris's mantra that "Everything is fine...Everything is good" comes off a tiny bit hollow; and (3) It's especially sad when Liza gushes that her daddy loved Doris and the singer/actress responds, "Who?" Still, it's pretty wild to hear Rock Hudson's screen lover gab with Peter Allen's ex wife. It's a fag hag's delight!
