What Are Your Favorite One-Hit Wonder Hits?

Categories: Featured

You know, the smash songs from performers that quickly fell through the trap door into oblivion. Here are mine:

"Afternoon Delight" by Starland Vocal Band. A sweet litle ditty about midday shtupping. So bad it's good.

"Toy Soldiers" by Martika. I love anyone with one name, except Bono. And someone with three names--Jennifer Love Hewitt--helped sing backup on this!

"Somebody's Watching Me" by Maxwell Rockwell. Jacko's vocal on the chorus added the perfect creepy touch. At this point, EVERYBODY was watching him.

"Milkshake" by Kelis. She has one name! And the song was the inescapable novelty number of '03, chugged down by all the boys in the yard.

"Bitch" by Meredith Brooks. Or "B---h," as the squeamish called it. Unfortunately, Brooks never recorded a followup called "C--t."

So what are yours?
