More Life For The Boys in the Band

A bunch of gay men come together at a party, where they exchange barbs, do campy dance routines, and make each other cry. Sound like a night at my place? Well, it's actually the plot of The Boys in the Band, Mart Crowley's landmark '60s play, which was made into a fabulously entertaining--and still relevant--1970 film by director William Friedkin, recently released on DVD.

And now it's the subject of a documentary called Making The Boys, and I'm in it! The doc is playing the Tribeca Film Festival on Monday April 27 at 430 PM, and there's even going to be a panel discussion after the film, featuring Crowley and me!
