Are All Mormons Intolerant?

Saying that all Mormons hate on the gays is basically the same as saying that all Muslims are terrorists or all gays are pervs who should never be allowed to marry. It's a gross generalization that doesn't really help anybody in the greater scheme of things. I'm sure there are wonderfully loving Mormons out there who don't ascribe to every single tenet of their religion. There must be an Osmond--or any other Mormon--who clings to most of their church's overall beliefs while not joining in the fight against gay marriage with such rabid glee.

Am I right? Can you be a Mormon while secretly wishing the gays could wed? Can you even openly do that without being tossed into Great Salt Lake? Maybe there are even Mormons who ARE gay. I mean, some of those Osmonds look pretty fruity!
