Voguing goddess and Paris Is Burning star Octavia St. Laurent has left us, but there's now a chance to pay your respects in a celebratory setting while also giving cash to her family.

On Thursday June 25 at Groov at Bar 13 (35 E. 13 Street), there'll be an event to sing Octavia's praises and relive her fierce memories. The three floors of entertainment will include DJS (like Jelly Bean Benitez, Johnny Dynell, and Hex Hector), performances, and showings of Octavia's film appearances. This could be a whole new way to bring in Gay Pride Week--with some actual gay pride.
