• Rick Sanchez went down sort of a sucka opposing Jon Stewart - I mistrust this is the last i will see of the boy, boy is a lot like a character from Anchorman.

• that painting is by greg hildebrant. i have met him - and use to know his agent. michael asked him to come to neverland for two weeks and paint. michael constantly watched him. as i understand it - michael bought a hildebrant from his peter pan book and had it installed over his bed.

• Wasn't that the ultimate boy's bedroom? Just the place to horse around with each other? Jeez, that place is creepy. Especially those mannequins. eeeewwww

• I haven't had time to flip through the above-mentioned books from the juliensauctions link, but just judging from the first slideshow, I'm wondering how it is that on my crappy salaries over the years, I have better-quality stuff than MJ!

• I think superstars should be just like Michael: weird beyond beleif. Outstanding talent, weirdness and incredibly fucked up lives is what makes them unique.

• With All of those pictures and mementos of Shirley Temple I was reminded of the time I saw Richard Simmons dressed as her out and about in Hollyweird.. Purportedly, she was always a favorite of his!!!

• All of these stars who ODed were longtime drug users who had multiple doctors prescribing multiple drugs for them: Marilyn, Elvis, Judy, Michael. All bigger than life personalities, all amazing talents, all deluded enough by pharmaceuticals, adulation and the inability of people to say "No" to them. They thought they could do anything, beat anything, survive anything because they had all bounced back before. But there comes a time when mind and body can stand only so much, Gerold Frank, who wrote some of the first "tell-all" books about such people, said, "Inevitably, conspiracy theories pop up. I never believe them. Usually they die of the synergistic effects of drugs and alcohol or just the wrong combination of drugs."
