I love me any kind of stage drama about Helen Keller, especially when she wackily answers the iron! But a whole other mishap occurred in this legendary clip showing an amateur production of The Miracle Worker. At a peak moment, the actress playing Helen is so into her role that she tumbles off the stage like a bowling pin. Talk about method acting at its most committed!

Ever the pro, the girl picks herself right back up and keeps going, without even being doused with wa-wa. But the truly amazing thing here is that you can see a man in the audience running for the exit the second this happens. He must have thought, "This is my chance!"
