Update on Adam Lambert's Semi-Closety Marketing: A Letter About The Letter

Out_Dec-Jan2002.jpg
Yesterday's post detailing Aaron Hicklin's editor's letter in Out magazine about the namby-pamby management of Adam Lambert raised a firestorm of response, the Claymates--sorry, "Glamberts"--rising in force to defend their man, no matter what sexuality-cloaking steps his handlers might take in promoting him.

Well, Out's website now follows up on this, with the author of the mag's interview with Adam further explaining Hicklin's stance and giving more details of the behind-the-scenes wheedling that went on in putting the singer in the Out 100 issue. "Don't make the interview too gay" was the proviso. "And don't mention the March on Washington or any other political thing!"

Oy, gay!
