David Barton Gym's Toy Drive a Big Hit

Susanne Bartsch's annual Toy Drive at the Astor Place Barton gym on Monday night was a smash, people lining up to hand over toys quite different from the rather racy ones most of them generally use at night.

Bartsch pranced around with a giant apple on her head, as Dirty Martini stripped and bumped on a big stage.

And the gym crowd got to see each other with clothes on for a change, as I snuck some free time on a treadmill.

Best of all, the gym was handing out free one-month and one-week memberships as you came in, and I managed to compile enough of them to go there for five years.

The place, by the way, is big and amazing--decorated like a club more than a gym, so as you work out, you actually feel like you're dancing!
