As the world economy continues to collapse and celebrities line up to off themselves, there's heartening news:
Pantone has announced the color of the year! And it's Obama! I mean Sully! I mean burnt siena!
I mean....(drumroll)...turquoise!
"Why turquoise?" I hear sea foam green screeching in despair.
Well, they handily explain it: "Combining the serene qualities of blue and the invigorating aspects of green, Turquoise inspires thoughts of soothing, tropical waters and a comforting escape from the everyday troubles of the world, while at the same time restoring our sense of wellbeing."
It makes you so serene, in fact, that you spell well being as one word.
