Our lips AREN'T sealed about the fact that former Go-Go's singer Belinda Carlisle has a 17-year-old gay son named James Duke Mason.
He's got the beat--and he's also got a photo spread with mom in the January issue of the British gay magazine Attitude.
A friend just alerted me to this development, urging me to write that it's a desperate publicity ploy for Belinda.
But I'd rather see it as a rousing show of love and support, mainly because if I go through 2010 with the same jaundiced pessimism as last year, I'll explode.
On a separate note, of COURSE the kid's gay. James Mason was the name of Judy Garland's costar in A Star is Born!
