A Gay Version of The View!

QTalk Hosts 2.jpg
I was once in a pilot for a gay version of The View that never took off, but a new one HAS been picked up--in a cabaret room, anyway.

It's called Qtalk, and it happens the third Saturday of every month at the Metropolitan Room (34 W. 22 Street).

Says the press release, "Qtalk, often described as 'the Gay View,' is much more fun, sassy and over-the-top.

"Qtalk's live talk/variety show format is led by four hosts, theater veterans Joseph John, Frantz Hall, Stacey Todd Holt, and Angie McKnight.

"The hosts tackle current events, fitness, and lifestyle, punctuated by guest performances from Broadway, cabaret, and the pop world."

And ever since Rosie O'Donnell has been off the The View, it's easier to call something "the gay View" without getting people confused.

By the way, the topic for the next Qtalk, on Saturday February 20, is "Gay Siblings: Is It Hereditary or Just Fabulous?"

The guests are three gay brothers. So I guess it IS just fabulous.
