Ann Coulter a Victim of a Hate Crime!

Coulter's appearance at the University of Ottawa was canceled when students gathered to protest and it looked like a potentially dangerous situation.
They were mad that the conservative blabbermouth had told a Muslim student at another Canadian school that Muslims should be banned from airplanes and use flying carpets instead.
Presumably, they were also mad about a LOT of things she's said--things that promote bigotry and generalizations and oppression. And hate crimes!
And now Coulter herself is claiming to be the victim of a hate crime!
She feels the letter from the university's provost urging her to curb her speech to meet Canada's freedom of speech laws sent out a bad signal that her mouth wouldn't be welcome there.
Anyone hate the university for booking her in the first place?
