At What Age Were You Happiest?

• when i was ten it was a very good year.

• I was 21 and living in Madrid in a huge flat full of artist and fashion models. Not a worry in the world. Even then I had a sense life would never be that good.

• I was 26 in 1975 living in the West Village with one who turned out to be a long time lover. The neighborhood in those days was like a college campus. It took me an hour to get a few blocks because I knew so many guys and stopped to talk to all of them. It felt so good to be that age at that time. Nobody then could have convinced me that I wouldn't feel that way forever.

• Isn't Kathy Griffin the one who understands that she's not supposed to "go there" when she talks to Anderson Cooper, but she desperately wants a repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell"????

• I love my life more today than yesterday but not as much as tomorrow.

• Again I have to agree with the "right Now" responses. I'm a very happy muscledaddy who just loves life and giving Mega hairy muscle hugs to all deserving hotties. I feel great, and after hearing Kathy Griffin give her uplifting, in your face speech in support of repealing DADT, I really feel there's hope that before year's end, this cruel joke can finally be put to bed, and we can all join our brothers in a hunky sleepin. WOOF

• at 20 I had the most fun and the least responsibility. i had no idea how trying the rest of that decade would be. ignorance WAS bliss. those were the days.

• Prepare to roll your eyes, but the fact is, I'm happiest with my life as it is now than I've ever been - there was never really a time when everything clicked in the past. It still doesn't completely click - if it ever does - but I can handle that much better these days. I wouldn't mind, however, taking my present mindset and returning to age 20, and then going from there.

• Thirty was the best so far. Forty is almost as good; my life is far better but I tend to worry more which I count as a minus. I'm looking forward to this decade. The next? Not so much.

• But "right now" is the correct answer for me and for at least the last 10 or so years as well. I have a longtime partner that I adore and who feels the same. I have a home, don't owe anybody any money, a fishing boat for the weekends, and the free time to enjoy these things.

• It's today!

• I remember four years old as so special. The word was precious to me and everything was a big ball of fun. But I also remember being very afraid of having to pop out of my bubble and enter school at age 5. That changed everything and the innocence and idealism never came back for me.

• I was so happy at 27. I was going places career wise, I had an amazing boyfriend, everything was sweet. But 28 was the worst!!!
