In her new memoir, ex First Lady Laura Bush reveals that she urged Dubya not to make gay marriage a significant issue because, like, they know some gays!
She also opens up about the car crash that killed a male when she was a 17-year-old chatty driver--and though she puts some blame on the dark road, the small "Stop" sign, and the victim's car itself, she does admit that she was wracked with guilt over it for a while--especially since she didn't reach out to the family of the victim afterwards.
