Michael Douglas Admits To Bad Parenting
In a letter to the judge in an attempt to soften the sentencing of his drug-dealing son Cameron Douglas, Oscar winner Michael Douglas bravely points out that Cameron is "a single child of a bad marriage."
Imagine how much courage it took for a star to admit he wasn't always around for his son's upbringing!
Bravo, Michael (who himself is the son of a big star, Kirk Douglas, and clearly knows what that does to you).
Still, I'm getting a little tired of the letter writing campaign to save Cameron's celebrity ass. (Kirk wrote a heartfelt missive to the judge too, laying on the star power and the guilt.)
Your everyday drug dealer doesn't benefit by his Aunt Sadie writing the judge, "He's basically a good kid. It's just that he wasn't raised right!"
