Why Did Marc Jacobs Split Up With Lorenzo Martone?
I'm hearing that one factor was the New York magazine Spring Fashion issue, which included a feature profile of Lorenzo.
Marc's camp apparently thought the piece would be more about Lorenzo's new talent agency.
But it went heavy into their relationship, with Lorenzo talking about how they met, kissed, and fight, and how he likes beards but not skirts.
After that came Lorenzo's Butt magazine spread, though that interview was as light on the revelations as it was heavy on the exposed tuchus flesh.
In general, I find that Marc likes to promote his sexy boyfriends, and he surely must have known about the press coming.
Still, ever since having disentangled himself from Jason Preston, it's possible that he feels awkward about bringing cameras into the boudoir.
