Angelina Will Play Cleopatra!

• Lindsay really is a fantastic demonstration of all the things wrong in the USA today. I really can't fathom why the hell she gets that much media attention.

• Top read. Angelina is amazing. A celebrity I both respect and love. Can't wait for her new film. The original painting I own of her is well good and will be cherished forever!

• Actually Clint might make a fun Caesar. Two favorite scenes from Liz's; As triumphant Caesar observes pillaged and flaming Alexandria from the palace balcony, Cleopatra, nostrils flaring, barges into his private aprtments and fixes him with her imperial gaze; "Do you smell smoke?" If I recall correctly Liz finds drunken doomed Dick brooding yet again beside the statue of Caesar in her Mausoleum "not so much a room-mate as a tomb-mate" says he. Remake THAT Hollywood.

• Elizabeth Taylor was the ultimate Cleopatra. The movie, the hoopla of the affair, and her outrageous contract made her the star of stars. Even in a wheelchair, La Taylor would cause more excitement on the red carpet than Brangelina.

• Thats GREAT news....the sexy Angie being Cleopatra is perfect ;)

• I suggest Paul Giamatti as Caesar since that incredibly ugly actor's head looks like a rancid peanut and may hopefully cause botulism in Angie and all her adopted kids, leaving Brad a grieving widower available for some nice gay like Musto to comfort.

• whats her face's coochie is all wore out now so who cares....

• I think the two are better suited for a remake of Caligula

• ...and taking cinematic license, Jennifer Aniston is set to play the venomous snake 'Vipera Aspis'.

• Yma Sumac? You mean Amy Camus spelt backwards?

• Or in the Yma Sumac role in a remake of Secret of the Incas. Dubbed by Lady Gaga.

• Angelina as the twin sisters -- one good, one evil -- in a remake of Maria Montez's deliciously daffy "Cobra Woman": "Geef me dot cobra jool!" "Lettuce, you have sin' nothin' unusual here dis ivinin'." Brad Pitt as Jon Hall and Tom Cruise as Sabu! I'd pay again and again to see that!

• Is this a real movie or something for a Disney theme park?

• Angelina should stick to biblical epics--preferably about Sodom and Gomrorah.

• My favorite Liz-Cleo line was when Roddy McDowall, as Octavius, asked his former "Lassie Come Home" co-star if there was anything he could do for her and she replied. "Yeah, you can getcha ahrmies outtah here." It seems to me that a Jolie-Pitt teaming in this property would just be setting itself up for a big let-down. A target, f'sure. Liz and Dick would come off looking like Vivien Leigh and Laurence Olivier by comparison.
