The Original Reality Show Is Coming to HBO
Way before Snooki, there was An American Family -- the original reality show, documenting the dissolution of the Louds, a well-to-do, charismatic Santa Barbara family at war with itself.
Well, HBO is shooting a TV movie called Cinema Verite, a behind-the-scenes look at that 1973 show, with Diane Lane and Tim Robbins as the (very) Louds and Thomas Dekker as their gay, sexy, and somewhat self-destructive son, Lance.
And now I hear that Willam Belli -- who's one of the leads in the controversial Ticked-off Trannies With Knives -- will play Warhol Superstar Jackie Curtis in the film.
That's a lot of reality right there!
