A Single Man DVD Cover Makes It Look Straight
The gayest movie ever made, A Single Man is Tom Ford's Oscar-nominated triumph of style about a forlorn professor's bittersweet past love and his flirtation with some young new angel with a nice body.
I urge you to check out the imminent DVD/BluRay versions -- even though the cover art does everything imaginable to make it look hetero!
They emphasize Colin Firth alone, adjacent to an image of co-star Julianne Moore snug against a man (Firth, no doubt).
Yes, they do have a drunken scene together in the film, but the point is that she really can't hold onto him because he's gayer than Ricky Martin!
And that doesn't really come across in this cover!
At least Tom Ford's name is mentioned. That should tip people off.
