• Why is Creating a Mosque at Ground Zero basically permitted to come about? I've never heard something so absolutely ludicrous in all of my entire life. If this truly reaches fact, It might be the worst thing ever. valarie

• When you throw a celebrity like Lindsay Lohan, in jailhouse it's a tremendous problem for the correctional, they don't wish that. They're taking a lot of press and focus on their detention facility. It gets all the other inmates up in arms, it's not a satisfactory situation. Due to that, they're going to want to get her out expeditiously without looking like she's incurring extraordinaire treatment. At least that's what they say. Don't make me laugh! Bear in mind, Lindsay had a 90-day jail conviction, the general person with that sentence in Los Angeles would be required to do at least 22 or 23 days. But for Lindsay, now they're saying two weeks total, so definitely she'd be getting it better than the rest. Just goes to show get famous get away with anything. Just ask OJ!!

• I just read that Buttermilk was also in the auction and sold for $25,000. Trigger sold for $266,000 and Bullet $35,000. Dale Evans wrote a book called Angel Unaware about their daughter Robin Elizabeth who had Down's syndrome and died when she was a toddler. It was one of my favorite books age 11.

• Must add for this blog's constituency that Pat Brady's Jeep, nicknamed "Nellybelle," is also for sale. Pat Brady, Roy's "comical sidekick," was the Paul Lynde of his day. Also for Mustovites: At one time, Dale Evans was known as "Queen of the West," although I think she'd have some competition for that title today. Before she got religion, Dale was Republic Studio's answer to Betty Grable and VERY dishy, with a tacky blonde dye job. And what happened to Dale's "mount," "Buttermilk"? Movie Star News used to have physique pix of Roy in a towel, shaving.

• You forgot to mention Bullet, looking up at his big buddy in the first pic. What a team!

• For quite some time after his death, Trigger ended up in the Roy & Dale museum, which relocated to Branson!

• I still remember the hilarious SNL joke: "When Roy Rogers' horse, Trigger died, Roy had him stuffed and mounted. Dale Evans says that, when Roy Rogers dies, SHE wants to be stuffed and mounted, but not in that order". Until this story broke last week, I always wondered if Roy Rogers really had Trigger stuffed and mounted. I wonder, too, what Dale Evans did when Roy died...

• I work nearby and stopped in today to view the collection of all the stuff they are auctioning from the now defunct Roy Rogers & Dale Evans museum. I was never a fan (although Roy was a cutie despite his marriage to the perfectly awful bible thumping Dale) but the array of stuff is pretty interesting. Their western wear is darling--he was no giant. Bet he and Dale could swap outfits. But the stuffed horses? I just could not understand why.

• I never knew Trigger was a blonde! He's looking hotter than Dale Evans.
