The lavish affair, held in tents 90 miles north of Manhattan, is the wedding of the year, with $3 million-plus reportedly being spent, no doubt on things like ice sculpture swans and Gap dresses for the maids of honor.
Is it worth it?
Probably not, since most marriages end in divorce.
Mezvinsky happens to be an investment banker. Couldn't he have just funneled the money into something valuable?
Oh, well. At least Chelsea's parents happen to be extremely well off, so I'm not exactly crying over the misused funds.
But in protest, I'm not going to attend, either!
