Is Human Hair Soaking Up the Oil Spill?
This serious message just came in from a friend who's well connected in the coiffure industry:
"I heard this amazing story you can call a few hairdresser to verify -- an organization is collecting human hair to help soak up the oil spill in the Gulf!
"I am not shitting you. A friend's hairdresser told her about it."
Could this be true?
Could hair -- which has ruined so many nights of my life, considering the bad wedges, perms, and blunt cuts I have to deal with on a regular basis -- actually be the salvation of the gulf, the economy, and the entire world?
If so...thank you, hair!!!
