In the old sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati, Gary Sandy was always packed into his blue jeans tighter than a can of tumescent sardines.
What's more, Gary -- who played program director Andy Travis -- would usually have a few buttons of his gingham shirt carefully opened to reveal a throbbingly sexy man-chest.
As a result, he made the years 1978 to 1982 hormonally thrilling for me, and all the years after that, too, thanks to reruns upon wonderful reruns.
The man was a God -- a sort of urban cowboy looking for a horse that was waiting for him all the time right here in my lap.
