My Flea Market Appearance as Queen of the Nile

This photo by Eva Lucien would seem to suggest it did.

And it goes to show that the great thing about flea markets is the instant gratification attained by trying on items that are so very wrong for you, yet so very right for a quick photo op.

To me, the Sixth Avenue market is like a giant, open-air prop closet for an unasked-for photo session -- and you never have to buy a thing!

Also of note, the Dog Spa & Hotel across the street is where I vaguely remember spending a few glamorous nights afterward.

But did that really happen?
