The King's Speech
The gum-flapping gang has anointed The King's Speech, Colin Firth, Annette Bening, and Danny Boyle as the golden ones who will step up to the podium without that much in their way.
These choices are a great start, though at this time last year, a lot of us same wily wags were counting on Avatar, George Clooney, and Meryl Streep.
Stay tuned as the drama unfolds, and let's hope things get good and bloody (and bloody good).
