Some Good Things About Yesterday's Election

• I love it when politicians talk about "the wisdom of the American People". The American electorate are uninformed, unthinking, and eager to be manipulated sheep.

• It's the same thing over and over. Lame duck leaves a huge mess for the next guy; next guy gets blamed for said mess; duck triumphantly returns four years later. And I love how everyone uses the word "control." You don't gain or lose control of the House or the Senate, you're supposed to cooperate, remember?

• Remarkable. Apparently, most of those who voted for Rick Scott in Florida are the 65+ crowd. Scott, who was indicted for Medicare fraud. Of course, now the Republicans will actually have to put up or shut up: let's watch them eat their own.

• Cuomo should send flowers to Paladino for fucking up so royally.

• Yes, let's make lemonade. It was a disaster yesterday!!!
