A Fake Reality Show! No, Really!

You just have to believe me on this, people.

Bravo's Milionaire Matchmaker might not really be filled with millionaires.

In fact, some of them probably eat hamster food out of garbage pails.

Watch this quickie video in which the show's David Yontef reveals that the show doesn't check into your finances at all, and as a result, probably half the people that appear on it ain't millionaires at all.

What next?

Some "real housewives" in a staged catfight?

But wait! Now that the shit's hit, Yontef has decided to take the complete opposite approach:

Says he:

"The video was taken out of context. I know that Bravo has checked all information and that all of my castmates are not only a millionare, but I assume they are multimillionaires since they live in New York and seem to own businesses, properties and the like."

The old "taken out of context" routine! Puh-leese! I've heard it a million times.

Patti is definitely a character herself, but of course "reality" shows like Millionaire Matchmaker are going to attract drama and nutjobs. The real New York matchmakers (like Richard Easton et al.) are real people people who know what they're talking about. This show? Well, it's certainly a spectacle.

I just saw the Millionaire Matchmaker episode with the millionairess who was overweight and said she wanted someone who looked like Matthew McConnaughey (sp). Her hair had a bad dye job and was like straw - and you were supposed to believe that a millionaire walks around like that. They could've sent her for a simple makeover to at least try to create the illusion that she was rich, but Bravo is too cheap even for that.

The dye job lady was an idiot. An idiot would think that hair looks good. And she had no taste, remember the Hello Kitty/Pink apartment she bragged about.

Can't understand why people watch this shit on tv. I'd rather listen to a florescent light buzz. One of the worst is the that unemployment lady! She berates people who are already out of work and feeling low. This overstuffed tart tries to match people, money a paramount factor. She's one ugly and vulgar bag of poop. Hoarders is really a weird one where you get to feel good by looking at people's filthy houses and see them cry because their friends and relatives won't visit their hovels. I'm ashamed for them all! I have a job, a partner and clean domicile. Special me!

He sounds kind of spineless to just change his tune. But spineless people are all over reality TV.
