• JR crosses the line all of the time. We love it when it's the stuff we want to hear. Everyone knows how politicized the country is so it's not really surprising Fox/RM cancels someone for exercising free speech. The Media business the the biggest fluff-whore operation going...I'm sure at another time in another situation they will have her own and praise what an institution she is. After all- it is Show Business.

• I actually think Sarah Palin is smart, but also exceptionally ignorant. She's managed to make a lot of money and achieve enormous celebrity (which seems to be her raison d'etre) by spouting off her bigoted nonsense. Many Americans have a deep-seated fear of people who appear smarter than they are, which is why oafs like Palin and W always find supporters. Joan is wonderful, as usual, for having the balls to call out not just Palin, but the Fox network (Dr Frankenstein to the Palin Monster).

• Only "Melissa is Fugly" can make a 76-year-old woman who is still on every single channel and has a smash movie sound like a failure. And if you're so offended by Joan's crassness, why are you even saying "Melissa is fugly"? That's VERY offensive.

• And everyone, you gotta watch Joanie on Fashion Police on E!. I am not that kind of gay who is into the fashion thing but she kills every night with great material. Watching Giuliana and Kelly Osbourne laugh themselves to tears is priceless.

• Is it true that blacks can get into college easier than whites...? Joan asked this of an african-american girl. when some hillbilly porn actress said on joan's afternoon talk show that she had to do porn cause it's hard for whites to get into college, after an african-american college girl said the hillbilly could have gone to college instead of doing porn.

• rosanne barr had a hit tv show....rosie odonnel had a hit talk show---joan flopped, and flopped again. Snookie right now has a best selling book out---does that make Snookie a great writer. Snookie has lots of stuff going on right now too.

• You go girl...talk about a trouper! I always loved her and hated whenever she got canned...I am reveling in her 75th comeback, loved the docu and she's making E interesting again ( for 1/2 a week, anyhoo)! If I were the head of FOX I'd be afraid to let her on...nobody comes close!

• "How come Joan never became a TV star?"?? Please! She guest hosted for Johnny Carson, then got her own late-night talk show, then got her own daytime talk show, then was on Celebrity Apprentice, and now has two or three reality shows at once!!! And I'm leaving of a lot of other stuff. As for movies, her documentary was one of the year's biggest. And on Broadway, she got a Tony nomination!

• I don't get your criticism. I can see you don't get her humor. Joan had her own late night talk show. Ain't that a tv star? Who hasn't heard of Joan? She is often crude and it's usually funny! You could lighten up a bit. If you wonder all about her, which I doubt, you might see her recent movie all about her.

• just what england needs---another queen. joan rivers said that in the 1980s about boy george; is that why you love joan? "if mamma cass eliot had given her last sandwich to karen carpenter, they'd both be alive right now"----another joan rivers joke.

• We love Joan!!! Keep speaking out!!!

• SO HOW COME JOAN RIVERS NEVER BECAME A MOVIE STAR, OR A TV STAR-----HOW COME THE LIBERAL MEDIA NEVER MADE HER A STAR? and then there's joan's no-talent kid, melissa. and let's not forget joan's joke about boy george: "just what england needs----another queen"
