"Faith" Contest Winners: Here's What Faith Means To You
A couple of days ago, I asked you to define faith, while promising a copy of the reissued Faith album by George Michael to the five strongest entries.
The results restored my faith in humanity.
Here are the winners:
"Faith is the confident belief or trust in the truth or trustworthiness of a person, concept or thing. I had faith that when George Michael played at Madison Square Garden, I'd get the chance to meet him backstage and tell him how much his music has made my life so much better. And I did! I believe."--Geoffrey Dicker
------------
"Faith means protecting, celebrating and believing in the people, memories, ideas, words and songs that help complete you as a human."--Lavinel Savu
------
"Faith is the celebration of knowing nothing and trusting that if there is anything to know someone, something, somewhere knows it...Faith is preparing for the fruits of your labor at all times, it's keeping the juicer plugged in on the counter, ready to go. It is absurd. But its absurdity makes it all the more plausible. Faith is so crazy it just might work."--Dan Regelski
---
"What does faith mean to me? It means being Greek, which both me and George Michael are. Which is hot. :)" Michael Apostolina
--------
"Faith is Hope without the possibility that it could actually happen!
"How's that for less than 100 words?"--Paul Young
