The posts on here, from Michael Musto on down to people who are commenting, are so uneducated. As a psychotherapist for nearly 20 years, I have worked with many people over the years who successfully learned how to eradicate violent behavior from their lives and go on to be productive members of society. People don't generally go to prison for first time offences of a violent nature, and people certainly don't lose their careers. Its unbelievable how judgmental people are. Domestic violence impacts millions of people all over the world every year. It is most commonly perpetuated by a cycle of violence that is witnessed and learned. Vilifying people who engage in violent behavior only serves to perpetuate it.

You think it's judgmental to be appalled by him beating and threatening to kill? No, it's really not. He's scum and he doesn't matter. If he is sad for the rest of his life that's cool with me. Chris Brown is a no-talent loser, but he does have a real shot at being a style icon if only one of these tough-guy rappers would rip his balls off, dip them in gold, encrust them in Swavorski crystals, have them smelted into earrings and then present them to Rihanna as a gift.
