Salvador Dali Got Kinky With An Oscar Nominee

That's what surreal artist Salvador Dalí learned when he put the make on Ali MacGraw way back when the beauty was a model, en route to being the Oscar-nominated co-star of the weepie phenomenon Love Story.

Dali had been sketching Ali, and to further this project along, he invited her up to his St. Regis Hotel room one day for some artistic action of the highest order.

Right away, he asked her to take off her clothes.

"This scared the living hell out of me," MacGraw writes in her book, Moving Pictures, "until I sized up the very old man and figured that if he got worrisome, I would be more than capable of fending for myself.

"Besides, I was going for that spot in the Louvre."

So she took off her fake Chanel and clunky accessories and sat down, pretending to look cool.

"This resolve came slightly unglued," says MacGraw, "when I saw with horror that Dalí was crawling under the table separating us.

"Suddenly, down on the floor, out of my sight, I felt him begin to suck my toes!"

That was it. End of session. Ali bolted on Dalí.

But amazingly enough, she came back for more sessions!

And looking back on the whole thing, she doesn't think he was ever really sketching at all.

Surreal.
