The Prominent TV Personality Has Come Out!

No wonder he hired a PR guru. Who watches CNN anymore?

Never heard of this guy.  Then I heard him on M. Signorile's show and he is a black queen.  Just what is needed.  Sorry to sound jaded but. . . we have yet another anticlimactic coming out story with a book that will wind up in the cutout bin in 10 minutes.  Instead of Anderson Cooper, Shepherd Smith, or Greta Van Susteren, we get this well-meaning but B level "TV personality."  Instead of Kenny Chesney we get Chely Wright.

 He said "pave the way" because there are other gay anchors--one in particular--who aren't out and he wants them to embrace it. Got it?

 OMG!!! "pave the way"...  come on! nowadays everybody is gay... I'm tired of you making such victims of yourself, if you are so proud of being gay...embrace it!

As a new comer to north america, I now understand how brave Mr. lemon is. I do admire Mr. Lemon for being one of the only few hounest and sympathetic anchors on US TV. Chapeau Sir! 

More power to this hermano! Love you, Don!

 "and, of course, book contract...." Ugh!and, of course, book contract...." Ugh!

 This helps knock down another obstacle.

People always said a woman couldn't come out. Then they did, so they said a male can't come out. Then Neil Patrick Harris did (and soared). Then they said you couldn't come out in news. Then a woman did. Then they said a man couldn't. And now comes this (and there was Thomas Roberts too).

Anyway, all of these so-called rules are b.s. Anyone can come out. And clearly the network will let you. 

 Here's what Lemon says in the link:"I abhor hypocrisy. I think if you're going to be in the business of news and telling people the truth...then you've got to be honest. You've got to have the same rules for yourself as you do for everybody else."Take that, Anderson.

I figured this one out when he gave an impromptu tribute to Teena Marie who had passed earlier in the day on Dec. 26.  If you go back and watch it, you'll see what I mean.

I figured that it'd turn out to be yet another "prominent" person that I've never heard of...

 He has the most beautiful mouth on television. I love to watch it make words.

 Can Anderson be far behind?

So obvious. Not a name. And wasn't he out already?

And is it too impolite to say that he doesn't seem to have much personality ?

 He is one fiiiiiiine piece of man, too! Yum. No, seriously, this is great news. I know most of us have known about him for years now, but it's more important than ever for men, especially, to come out of the closet.  

The fact that Don Lemon is 45 is what shocked me. He is hot and grilled that asshole Trump last weekend.

 Who? Oh, well. I guess it's as good as when whatshername came out.

 The TVs are bigger than ever.  It's the personalities that got small.
