My Funny Julie Andrews Speech On Video

Victor/Victoria was pretty terrible compared to the movie.

It didn't deserve multiple nominations.

Julie was trying to make the show the victim while exuding a fake nobility. It was so false!!! Who really though that Tony Roberts and Michael Nouri deserved nominations for that????

I LOVED your performance, which wasn't mean at all, just saucy.

"She did the right thing"?????

It was done for publicity, to help the show. They made a decision to call the camera crews and have her make this statement as a way to get press off the Tonys, which they weren't going to get with nominations or awards.

It was the least gracious thing imaginable, performed with oozy faux graciousness that made it extra hideous.

Why do you insist on making fun of her speech?  She did the right thing and stood by her husband and the company of the show.  It's called "class."

PS: I was able to have my cheat sheet as I delivered the speech because that's the way Julie did  it!!

Michael is so funny.  I love him!!  To me he will always be Julie Andrews.

The best thing about it is that I remember that speech and every word is verbatim.
