Check out my new best friends, sisters Lorraine and Sabina Belkin.
They're glammed-up go-getters who just opened Duo Restaurant and Lounge in the growing NoMad area, conveniently located near my house.
And the place has some facinating touches, like menus that magically light up when you open them!
And cutely offbeat cups and serving glasses right out of a Tim Burton movie.
Plus the "contemporary American" cuisine is appealing, and there will be DJ nights to give you a beat to chomp to.
When I told my friend Rob Roth that the Belkins could be the new Kardashian sisters, he sagely responded, "Yeah, but they do something!"
Agreed, oh glitterati?
Could they be the town's hot new sister act?
