Beloved publicist and friend Claire O'Connor passed away last week, leaving a significant piece of the NYC mosaic missing.

Please come and memorialize her.

The wake for Claire is this Monday, August 1, at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home (1076 Madison Avenue, at 81 Street), from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Her family is requesting flowers.

And her funeral will be on Tuesday, August 2, at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More (65 East 89th Street).

"It's where we were married, where she was christened, where her parents were married, and where both daughters were christened."

Come celebrate her life and say goodbye to Claire.

Claire was within a small group of industry people I knew I could always count on.  Her honesty, humility and patience will be sorely missed.  My prayers go out to her family and close friends.

I met Claire only once but was struck by her friendliness, generosity of spirit and genuine caring for others....she was great fun too!  Condolences to her family and as mentioned above, her close friends who supported and cared for her, giving her peace and dignity in her final days.

My heart goes out to her sister and the small coterie of discreet close friends who took care of Claire day and night. Kept her grace and dignity and showed her so love . Bless you ladies from being there for Claire day and night so that she wasn't alone.
