Shortline Responds to Homophobia Allegations! And I Respond To Their Response!

Categories: Gaaaaayyyyyy

The future-Bus.jpg

You read here about singer Ari Gold holding hands with his boyfriend on a Shortline bus and being told by the driver to go to the back of the vehicle because it made him uncomfortable.

When Gold refused, the driver nervily called for a state trooper, who decided nothing illegal was going on and the driver should just keep driving!

Well, because of my write-up of this mess, Short Line sent out a response earlier today:

"Dear Mr. Musto:

"I wanted get back to you regarding the incident on one of the Shortline buses. I happen to be on vacation this week but I saw your e-mail and I wanted to make sure you got a response.

"I am the president of Hudson Transit Lines, Inc. which is the company known as Shortline. I wanted to assure you and your readers that we do not condone or endorse the actions taken by this one driver. His actions are not representative of the management of our Company.

"We will continue to investigate this incident until we are sure we have all the facts at which time we will take the appropriate disciplinary and remedial action. We apologize for the insensitive action of our driver and can assure you we will take the necessary steps to make sure this does not happen again.

George Grieve

President

Hudson Transit Lines, Inc."

Well, that's just great, and to make sure they get all the facts -- i.e., which driver was the offended (or actually, the offending) one -- I will get Ari Gold to contact Grieve personally and settle this.

We can all hold hands until some disciplinary action is taken. And even after that!

Hand holding is so childish.  This guy's an untalented fame whore, I would've made him move to the back as well!  Gay people, stop the madness!

Musto, I think Perez picked up on your story today--two days late--without credit. (Actually not sure if he gave credit since I can't bear to click on it. But the title came up.)

Well, I'm urging Ari to contact Mr. Grieve directly and press for results.

Dear Mr. Musto:

I "happened" to be on "vacation" this week (Sandy Hook...awesome! but sand gets everywhere, if you know what I mean)...anywho, when I saw yr email ...almost deleted it, thought, SPAM!  I ran it by our attys, who basically said..."lone wolf, don't bother...here's a boilerplate answer"(whew, thank god it wasn't Snooki!)

How's yr summer going?

Best Wishes,George of the "Jungle" Grieveous

boys sometimes I lose patience with certain homosexuals when they are super fine and hot just because it is one less cute guy for me to date. But a man not liking them is unacceptable!;) I am just posting my "grievance"
