That's the trajectory that Steven Daigle has taken, as you avid observers of pop culture's ups and downs well know.

Well, in a Sword column in the new issue of JustUsBoys.com magazine, Daigle says everyone he knew was pretty fascinated with his career twist -- except his family.

Daigle remembers posting on his mother's Facebook wall that he'd just won an award.

"What kind of movie were you in?" asked Mom, burning with curiosity.

He boldly replied with a link to his flick, Steven Daigle XXXPose.

Mom didn't exactly applaud. I guess she was expecting The King's Speech.

She replied, "You should not be proud of any award you win for something disgusting like that!"

She then quoted from the Bible and begged him to ask forgiveness from God.

But Steven just went on doing more sex stuff.

Not sure if he has a big brother, but there's a sister, and she's pissed, too.

To which I have the immortal comeback: Fuck off.

Well, this was a new article. It involved Daigle looking back at his coming out process. So you think nothing that didn't just happen five minutes ago (even if the magazine did just come out) should ever be reported?

Do you even know what YOU'RE talking about? Good lord. Even in inferring that he was talking about Ms. & sister Daigle, we still don't know WHO he was talking about. Yes. He could have been telling mom & sister daigle to fuck off. He could have been telling ALL judgemental, critical & rude people, not unlike yourselves, to fuck off.

Had the author further explained himself, we wouldn't even be having this stupid argument.

The point is that he reached out to his hateful mother to say he won an award and when she found out it was for porn, she cussed him out and told him to read the bible. Can you not read? It's certainly worth noting that porn stars get flack from their families, but not from anyone else.

It just seems like they're reaching hard for a news story & its a desperate attempt to get a blog post. All they did was summarize someone else's article. If I wanted to read a summarization of an article with no further value, I'd just read the article.

The fact that his family is not news. Its been fact for at least 2 years. Also, He won that award 3 months ago, considering the grabbys were Memorial Day weekend.

The article seemed misappropriately named. "From big brother to gay porn" makes it sound like this would be an interview, not a complete rehashing of someone else's interview. Seems like they would have talked about how he dealt with and overcame that. Not saying "omfg his mom hated that he did gay porn!!!"

And at the end, the author just says "fuck off", and gives no reason why whomever he thinks should fuck off should fuck off.

You should think next time before you blindly insult someone.

The "fuck off" is clearly aimed at the homophobic sister.

And the story is in the new issue of JustUsBoys magazine. I'm sure the author of this blog figured that not very many people out there have read that particular issue, so he was passing along the story. That's what blogs do--pass along stories that are interesting, usually citing other publications and sites. You're the one who is being rude.
