In fact, a friend of mine was positively distraught about it.
Said he:
"When I heard the title, I assumed Russell Brand had done a Christmas film.
"I figured it was a sequel to that Arthur remake, this time with lots of eggnog and falling down chimneys and more eggnog.
"I was really horrified!"
Well, relax, world.
It's actually a CGI animated film (in 3-D) by the Chicken Run people.
Something about Santa's youngest, klutziest son who ends up saving Christmas.
No Brand in sight.
That was a different Arthur.
Whew.
