Best Movie Makeup Of The Year: Meryl Streep Or...?

After you finish reading "Pauline Kael: A Life in the Dark," you'll know what Meryl's next movie should be. Imagine the scene in which Gina gets married and Mamma Dearest says, "Oh, shit!"  

Thatchy is flattered that gorgeous Meryl is done up like her, but she's wayyyyy purtier.  The monkey is not that cute.

I don't know about the makeup, but I totally vote for Meryl's hair! Love that '80s football helmet!

Andy Serkis wasn't really made up - it's a digital somethingy called motion capture. I vote for Tom Cruise, who (with minimal makeup!) made me believe he was hot 'n het.

Meryl's makeup as Thatcher is way better than the Rise of the Planet of the apes creatures. Way better!!!!
