The Worst Reviewed Movie Of The Year?

Don't even say, "Jack and Jill," because the Adam Sandler drag vehicle happened to have gotten 4 percent good reviews, according to Rotten Tomatoes.

And it's not Taylor Lautner's's solo outing Abduction, either. That scored the same whopping rate of approval! Four whopping percent!

But if you take that same title and add a few words, you've got The Abduction of Zack Butterfield, which got ZERO good reviews.

The Abduction of ... what?

Well, here's the description:

"A new indie psychological thriller in which a beautiful but disturbed young woman returns from combat as an American mercenary in Iraq and abducts a 14-year-old boy, holding him prisoner in her isolated country house as a bizarre romantic relationship develops. Brett Helsham and TJ Plunkett star."

Say no more! This is clearly the worst anything of the year!

Said The New York Times:

"A cringingly awkward tale of sexual predation and female lunacy."

So sorry, Mr. Sandler.

You're robbed of an honor once again.

Honestly, based on the description above, I really want to see this.  Does that make me crazy???

I always try to see the best in movies, but sometimes films are just so crappy that they're downright nightmarish.  In my first official review of a Twilight film, I wanted to give a decent review.  I wanted to be nice and not piss off those diehard Twilight fans, but the temptation to trash this crappy film is just too great.  The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 has quickly become one of those nightmarishly horrible films for me, and I'm going to tell you exactly why.  For more of my thoughts on Breaking Dawn, check out my review at http://bit.ly/srXy6s

Well, Michael, of course statistics don't lie. ("There are lies, damned lies, and statistics," opined Mark Twain.) But for holocaust-level atrocity, let me ask you this: Which of the three that you mentioned is liable to wind up COSTING MORE PEOPLE THEIR HARD-EARNED MONEY? Neither of the abduction movies has a star that people follow faithfully. I think Mr. Sandler may have earned that title after all, (at least in terms of samoleans down the crapper.)

Well, if they follow him faithfully, then they like the crap he does, so they won't be disappointed.

And that, my friends, is the reason why I do exactly the OPPOSITE of what movie critics recommend. Trash movies forever!
