• I mean no disrespect here, as I agree with many of the points you make.  But you really must reconsider your style of writing in half-Twitspeak/half-English and totally random use of capital letters and punctuation.  It makes it very difficult to understand the very good points you're trying to express.

• Very chuffed I was spot on w/ tree of life and rooney mara...nice surprises re Oldman and Tinker....someone has taste to pass over the scenery chomping deCaprio, worst performance of the year, more like..i agree Shame & We Need to Talk about Kevin are to unrepentant for the academy...this ain't the pulitzer's...they want a happy ending, shlock...should be a good show, MM!!!!

• Giving Kristen Wiig something since there was no little chance she would have been in the Best Actress category.  

• Tilda and Dunst (who I expected to be snubbed) were performances I would have nominated Same for Oswalt and Brooks in the supporting category.  Shailene Woodley not being nominated was unfortunate but they needed to give Jessica Chastain something, girl needs her own category.  I think Mulligan and Fassbender were ignored because some members of the Academy probably refused to watch an NC-17 film.  A Separation, Bridesmaids, Drive, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, even if you did not personally like those films, you at least had to respect more than Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close. Scorsese coasted.  Hugo should have been cut down to at least a half-hour.  Give me Lynne Ramsey or Nicolas Winding Refn over middle-grade Scorsese.  Menken's song for Captain America.  It was fun and cheesy, and actually followed the rules of not just being in the credits but actually in the middle of the film. 

• what else? dramatic acting! it should have been for makeup.

• Elton John's song wasn't nominated. He must be in a hell of a tizzy. And Madonna's was ruled ineligible. So we are denied another battle royale between the two divas. And instead of Elton/Gaga performing on the telecast, we'll see a Muppet song and a song from Rio.

• Madonna's shit movie W.E. got a costume nomination. Well, the gowns are probably nice.

• new york giants in the superbowl! madonna you better work!

• i have respect for brad pitt.

• What kind of idiot would nominate Bridesmaids for best "original" screenplay?
