Johnny Sheffield played Boy in those vine-swinging Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan films from the last century, but that paved the way for a whole new career change.
He went on to play Bomba the Jungle Boy!
Appearing as Bomba in a variety of B-programmers in the 1940s and '50s, Johnny was never fully clothed and he always carried a long, sharp spear.
In honor of Johnny, who died in 2010, here are some shots that may give you jungle fever.
