This press release came in, moments after the body turned cold:
"CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY AVAILABLE ON WHITNEY HOUSTON
"So-and-so, NY based leading criminal defense attorney, is available for comment on Whitney Houston.
"[Says So-and-so:] 'Police will look for evidence of drug use. If autopsy concludes she died from drug overdose, it will likely be the end of the investigation.'
"He has worked extensive with high profile cases, and was formerly a supervising senior assistant" blah blah blah.
Oy! Such amazing insight! (And bad grammar.)
Let the woman rest.
PS: They claim the email was sent out by mistake -- it sure was! -- so I'm breaking the rules and being a mensch and taking the name of the attorney out.
