Lea DeLaria In Bjork's Swan Dress! Great Photo!

Categories: Theater

The other day, I told you about actress/singer Lea DeLaria's new project -- playing an imaginary figure of indeterminate gender who sings "Bali Hai" while wearing a facsimile of Björk's famous swan dress, in a play called Out of Iceland.

Well, just to prove I'm not out of my mind -- or Iceland -- I've nabbed a photo and have placed it right above.

And it looks genius.

This may be Lea's swan song, but it's definitely not her swansong.

The show was pathetic and the so called actress is even more disgusting. ,If your are going to throw your money down the toilet on crap, you can just as easily stay home and do it, plus you save money on cab rides to & from this lousy show.

Just a ptic wanna be that will barely be. Would not waste my time on this hack or her pathetic attempts at acting or singing.

Though Lea is doing it for laughs, the dress really would look great on a leggy young gal.  Not the sox & shoes shown, though.  Maybe not practical to wear, but I have seen much worse looking get ups in runway shows!

Looks like "Swan Quake" to me.

And those striped sockies suggest "Swanee."

But La DeLaria will always have a place in my heart for her peerless performance of "I Can Cook, Too," from "On the Town."

With her voice and talent - she should be the next Mama Rose.  In about 2020.

OK, the striped stockings really make it.

I'd rather her than Streisand at this point.  And I'm a fan of both. <gets abuse="" for="" ready=""></gets>
