You girls should all stop fighting.  I think you're having flashbacks from typing class.

Featured Actor and Actress, not Supporting. It's about billing. Also, some categories aren't bolded.

And you, oh anonymous coward, are the biggest gaping, anal asshole who ever lived.

LOL!

And "Featured Actor and Actress, not Supporting" is not a sentence. I can't believe someone would post that as a sentence when it is not!

This is coming from the person who just began a sentence with a conjunction?

Sorry, my post should have been worded as follows, I was in a rush:"Because the Tony categories are decided by billing, unlike the Oscars or Golden Globes, the correct terminology is Featured Actor or Actress, not Supporting. Also, I couldn't help but notice that some categories weren't bolded."

Mychael, I guess we have to wait for later posting/column to see who you think will win.  Can't wait!  Tracy Bennet or Lynda Lavin--I think that's the hot race.  (all names here are misspelled on purpose--let's see if we can drive the spell checkers on here into craziness)

LOL.

(At least that's one thing I can spell.)

Great list.  Thanks for putting this together.  Personally, I'd like to see Chinglish and Jennifer Lin make the list.  And I'd love for the Tony committee to shock everyone and throw Lysistrata Jones into the Best Musical list along with Once, Newsies, and Nice Work.  I know it won't happen, but I enjoyed Lysistrata Jones MUCH MORE than Spiderman, Leap of Faith, Ghost, and Bonnie and Clyde.  Maybe the committee should only nominate THREE musicals this year. :)

Yes, I loved Jennifer Lim too. If she'd been eligible for featured instead of lead, she might have had a better chance for a nomination.

I want you to be wrong about Starcatcher and Spider-Man (I'd put The Lyons and Leap of Faith in those spots), but I don't think you are. I don't want you to be wrong about Keenan-Bolger, but I suspect Ricky Martin will sneak in and knock him out.

So happy to see Melissa van der Schyff on your list!

I'm always amazed at the people who can drive by, look at a long list of names, and then pick out the typo, just to show off. It's mind boggling.

I know! And the fact that very few actually comment on the choices shows how little they know or have to say about the real issues.

1) you misspelled the last name of Elaine Paige2) Tony awards are pretty star-fucky. Do you really think Ricky will be snubbed?

Well, Musto can spell your name right: Asshole.

One little typo Michael... you have Bernadette Peters in Evita..... I wonder what she would have done with that role?

Bwaybill

Could you not have just read the comments and seen that it was addressed before you did another "Gotcha"?

Eryops

Why do people criticize a typo when all they have to do is look at the previous comments and see that it was fixed?

Don't you mean Elena Roger for Evitaor did you meanBernadette Peters for Follies?

"*Bernadette Peters, Evita"???  And they said she was an unusual choice for "Gypsy"!!xp

Even in her 60s, she still would have been better than Elena Roger! :)
