Zsa Zsa Gabor Gets Groovy On Shindig

Categories: Music

The '60s were mind-blowingly swingin', even if you don't remember being there.

One of the high points, as discovered by The Redundant Variety Hour, is this Shindig clip of Hungarian actress/socialite/yenta Zsa Zsa Gabor singing about her high-heeled sneakers, "and vearing that vig hat on my head."

I have no idea what one word of this means, but I'm totally entranced--and by the way, is the middle female backup singer Darlene Love, by any chance?

Is it?

Vy is no one answering me?

Actress?  Not so much -- her sister was better. And you post a clip of her singing about her Hi Heel Sneakers when she's now  -- I can't even go there.  How insensitive.

And look at her Michael Jackson nose!

Fun and, mercifully, just a minute long!

Yes, that's Darlene Love with the Blossoms and the guys are the Wellingtons.

Zsa always did like a good publicity stunt.  Really awful, but not bad.

Yay!  The Variety Hour is the best!

And so is dear, long-suffering St. Zsa Zsa.  The passing of the Gabors has taken something very special (and fabulous) from this low world...
