Pulse Bar Will Make Amends For Reported Drag Queen Dis!

This blog gets results, people.

Just the other day, I wrote about how a drag queen was given a hard time at the door of Pulse, the Times Square karaoke bar.

A lot of people's feather boas were ruffled, but I've now gotten a response from the top brass there:

The club is investigating what happened at the door, feeling LGBTS should be celebrated and welcome.

And in the meantime, they want to offer the offended queen his own event there!

And he'll even get in!

This is nice to see. At the last year or so of Squeezebox! our regular security guys, for 8+ years had moved on, and somebody(?) got some jackasses in there who thought things like this was funny = harrassing people at doors and shoving smaller people ('f*gs'), etc. We had to get rid of a few of them, and watch the others like a hawk. It's just not on.
