Michael Parks/Christopher Jones: A Photo Montage Of Two James Dean Wannabes

Michael Parks in "The Bible." Brings me to my knees every time.
Two '60s answers to James Dean, Michael Parks and Christopher Jones, had great cheekbones, carefully tousled hair, and just the right 'tude for a generation looking for hot new heroes to lead the counterculture.

Parks was one of the first faux Deans, and then Jones became a sort of faux Parks, but both made their mark and are still alive to tell incredible stories full of triumph and despair.

A toast to them via these scintillating photos.

Even when well dressed--or dressed at all--Michael looked fine.

Christopher Jones was in Three in the Attic: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063693/, a pretty racy movie for 1968- the start of much more to come in that generation. Netflix doesn't have that movie- so I'm on a quest to find it. Yvette Mimieux was stunningly beautiful in that movie as was she in The Time Machine, one of my all time favorites from the 1960s.

Thanks for posting these. I've never heard of Christopher Jones but will look him up.  If you're a Michael Parks fan- check out www.michaelparks4u.com. You'll love it!

What else was Judy Pace in?  She looks a bit like the drummer Patronella Danforth from The Carrie Nations.

That was no hipster, that was Larry Bishop, son of Joey. He played one of the members of Jones' rock group in Wild in the Streets. another boy in the band (so to speak) was played by Richard Pryor. And the senator who advocated for Max Frost and his band was Hal Holbrook. God, I led a mispent youth in the 60s!

I was more interested in including the shot with Judy Pace, my favorite actress.

Where's the priceless, iconic picture, Musto, of Jones's naked (and perfect) behind from Three in the Attic?  Are you holding out on us?  I demand an investigation!

Christopher Jones----another John Drew Barrymore wannabe, with almost 6 kids he doesnt bother with, cause Jones such a drunken lowlife. David Lean sick of Jones way back in the 1970s.  Jones such a no talent bum.
