Go To Starbucks Tomorrow! Important!

I never thought I'd say that--I detest overpriced lattes consumed by slacking hipsters--but the pro-Starbucks day planned for tomorrow is intended as a show of support for a chain store that's backed same-sex marital rights.

Gay activists have cooked this up as a counter assault on the Chick Fil-A Appreciation Day, which brought out swarms of rabid conservatives hiding behind their "patriotism" and "freedom of speech" as they loudly endorsed the right of an establishment to back anti-gay rhetoric.

Tomorrow, we will all be swallowing our pride--and our mocha choca lata yayas--and it might be gross, but not as gross as the shit at Chick-Fil-A.

Besides, we'll be toasting to equality and all the trimmings, so cheers.

We didn't even have a Starbucks here in the hinterlands until recently and if you could only get coffee at Dunkin Donuts, you might appreciate Starbucks. I love the lime refresher.

So I'll definitely be there tomorrow.

Loll. How pathetic are you people. Personally I am promoting the "turn your lights on tomorrow night" event to show my support for gay marriage. Everyone turn their lights on when it gets dark to show their support for gay marriage. We will light up America.

@bwaybill You could always wear jeans today. We could declare today "Wear jeans to support gay marriage day". That can be an option for people who can no longer afford to have their lights on at night because of the Obama economy but who want to show their support.

I'm there too.  I go there every morning before work.  I might even go in the afternoon tomorrow.

This is such garbage!  Leave the businesses alone.  Who cares what the CEO's think.  Most of us really don't care whether you suck it, lick it or just do it like most people.  This waste of time and my space is paramount social retardation.  Really, we don't care what you do. Let me get a cup of joe in peace.

I'm there. I believe they also offer health insurance to their part time employees.  Not a huge fan of their product or how aggressively they move into areas, but I can show up in thanks for them doing the right thing.  Plus--I'm a big ole caffeine addict.  LOL

It's not the 90s anymore, it's not just hipsters at Starbucks.  The problem I have with them is their slacking staffers who don't focus and screw up your order or don't get it to you efficiently.  Mismanaged.

It might be fun to walk into each and every Starbucks  with friends just as a show of support. Let's make the place crowded!
